Did you purchase it from the Leap frog Store or is it a custom video uploaded with Deals Leapfrog Manager software?

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. It is possible, but it isn't trivial. If you've used the device, then the data might have been overwritten by now. If you are still interested, PM me and I'll see if I can help you. Not sure I can, because it is quite technical.

so yeah.... i tried using leappad manager to go into dev mode on my leappad premium so i could try to ftp to it and filezilla just wont connect to it using the 192.168.0.111 and root as username. not only can i not ftp i can no longer use leappad manager ;/

Make sure the adapter shows up on your PC and that you configure it correctly.

That is the lan adapter for the leappad premium and i tried using 192.168.0.111 with username root to no avail.

What does filezilla say when trying to connect?
