I would assume yes. It checks the signature when you try to flash so as long as that validates and it flashes, you should be fine.

Could you confirm that the v33.30621 links are dead?
Since i did not find the hacked-firmware i tried to generate one myself based of the orginal backup.
All went well and the first flash was successfull following the guides.
Since there was no v33.30621 version i based my changes for the RunApp on a french version v39.xxxx.
Unfortunately it is however not working. I added the apps to the Innotab_sd.db and can see the icons. But after the sandhour starts nothing happens and i return to the Downloads overview-page.
I started to edit some of the other scripts such as the mount_info, etc.
Eventhough I am setting PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH in the _Run files, a "which flashplayer4" shows that the flashplayer4 is taken from "/system/bin/vtech/flashplayer4" and not from "/vp_mnt/sd/flash4/flashplayer4". Did you guys alter other scripts, other then RunApp ? If so , are you will to inform?
Thanks anyway for the hack, I am having fun , hopefully I do not brick the innotab3 of my son.

I believe the RunApp is the only one modified, but does have some additional code changes for later firmware that re-mounts the SD card. Did you double check to ensure the paths are correct in the database file?
Edit: Have you tried updating to the latest version to see if there is a hacked firmware for that version?

Good tip, I updated using the learning-lodge now I am at revision: v46.40521.
Which means that for other people in the same situtation this is a valid way of updating a v33.30621 to a v46.40521 for the Innotab3.
PS: Due to various windows restarts and updates ( I am a linux-user ) last night I did not have energy to flash with the MODDED v46.40521-version.
Will confirm that it is working tonight.

Mick created it. It is easy just to wire up to the serial output and get shell access though. That is very helpful in debugging
Also easy to do whatever you want if you are familiar with Linux. Once you patch your firmware though, it is just as easy to run scripts from the SD card. You can check out the Spiffy Hack I made and see what I mean.

Hi I'm looking for a firmware compatible with Innotab3 Baby version 74.40616 in French Canada please and Thank You ..... New to this site just purchased the tablet for my grandson wasn't aware this was possible awesome job from what I've read thus far ??
Also wanted to ask since my tablet is French am I limited to only French games books etc?

I have never tried a non english game or book on mine since I don't know any other languages so I can't say for sure if it will work or not. If you flash a firmware from a different locale though, it is possible that it might brick the device since the root file systems might have different files per region.
