You can keep playing around with it. I had that happen on one of mine after an official update. My device was apart though and realized it was due to the camera not being plugged in. I let it sit there for quite some time and after playing with it, it finally booted. If you have tried many times and it still won't boot, the firmware is most likely corrupt and you will need to follow the un-bricking tutorial.
